Introduction

If you are reading this article, you have probably submitted your application, or are thinking of submitting it, to join the Milestone team and would like to know how our selection process works.

This document is designed to give you an overview of the different stages and help you prepare. Please note that this is a general guide and there may be slight variations depending on the role.

Applying to join our team means embarking on a journey of mutual discovery. We are committed to helping you express your value to the fullest and understand what sets us apart as a company. The selection process is structured in a transparent manner that respects the time and commitment of applicants.

Screening of applications

Each application is carefully evaluated by the HR team.

We recommend that you take care when preparing your CV, keeping it simple and concise and highlighting the main stages of your educational and professional background, as well as the experiences, projects, achievements, and interests you want to share with us.

If required for the role, attach your portfolio, as this will help us to better understand your skills and approach.

A short cover letter or motivational message can help us understand what you are passionate about and what motivates you to want to join our team.

Technical tests and interviews

The number, duration, and type of interviews may vary depending on the role you have applied for. Here we describe the standard process.

If your profile meets the requirements of the role, we will contact you for an initial introductory interview, either by phone or online. This is an opportunity for open dialogue: it is important for us to learn about your background, your motivation, and what you expect from this opportunity.

For some positions, there will be a technical test, designed to allow you to demonstrate your skills in a practical way. For us, this is a fundamental part of the process. It is not only used to assess your technical skills, but also to understand how you deal with the real challenges of the role and to show what you can do.

Once you have passed the first stage, we will invite you to participate in a more in-depth interview with some members of the relevant team, either in person or remotely. Here we explore your skills, working methods, and ability to tackle practical challenges in more detail. This is an opportunity for professionals to exchange ideas and for you to learn more about the company, its processes, and the responsibilities of the role.

If the in-depth interview is successful, your application will be considered for potential recruitment. The final meeting, preferably in person, will focus on technical and motivational aspects. At this stage, you will have the opportunity to meet the team leader and discuss objectives, growth prospects, and the culture of our work environment. It will also be an opportunity to learn more about the projects you could be working on and how we could support you in your professional career.

Final decision, inclusion, and equal opportunities

The final decision is made jointly and shared between HR and the professionals who participated in the selection process.

We believe in and welcome diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. All applications are evaluated based on skills and potential. We guarantee equal opportunities and inclusive conditions during the selection process.

If you have specific needs or requests for accommodation, you can let us know at any stage of the process: together we will find the most suitable solution.

Feedback and response times

We understand the value of feedback, which is why we are committed to responding to all applicants and everyone involved in the process. Response times and methods may vary depending on the number of applications. We provide more detailed feedback to those who reach the final stages: we believe that constructive dialogue is an integral part of the selection process.

We also welcome your feedback on the selection process, which will help us to continuously improve.

Unsolicited applications

Even if you don’t find a position that matches your profile, you can always send us your unsolicited application. We carefully evaluate every proposal and keep it on file for future opportunities.
