We’re back with the second episode of Beyond the Track, our video series exploring all the features you’ll find in HOT WHEELS™ Infinite Rush.
In this episode, we’ll take a closer look at the Rush Squad, how to progress through the game’s campaign, and the customization tools that let you personalize your experience.
In HOT WHEELS™ Infinite Rush, there are four different vehicle classes:
- • Drifters specialize in maintaining speed through corners with controlled, precise handling, recharging their boost as they drift.
- • Speeders are built for pure velocity, with boost that charges the faster they go.
- • Titans trade top speed for raw power. Their boost recharges rapidly, but if you drain the Boost Charge completely, they’ll temporarily slow down.
- • Versatiles offer a balance of speed, handling, and power, making them the perfect all-around choice.
You’ll explore each island with your Rush Squad, a team of four Hot Wheels™, one from each vehicle class. Every class comes with its own handling and boost mechanics. With the quick-change button, you can instantly switch between them while free roaming, ensuring you always have the right Hot Wheels™ vehicle for every challenge.
You’ll start with an initial Rush Squad lineup, but as your collection expands, so will your options! In the Garage, you’ll be able to swap vehicles, experiment with different combinations, and build the Rush Squad that best fits your playstyle.
But your Rush Squad won’t be the only team out there. Each island has a rival team made up of three Rushers and a Rush Master. As you complete Career events, you’ll earn points that unlock head-to-head challenges against the island’s Rushers. Defeat the entire crew, and you’ll earn the opportunity to take on the Rush Master in a final showdown.
Every time you defeat a Rusher or Rush Master, the Hot Wheels™ vehicle you defeated is added to your collection, making every victory even more rewarding!
The campaign also gives you the freedom to progress at your own pace. You can focus on completing one island from start to finish or branch out as new islands become available, jumping between events and challenges as you go.
There’s also a perk system that lets you improve your performance stats and fine-tune them to match your racing style. You’ll also be able to customize your boost and strafe visual effects and sounds. After all, great performance deserves great style!
Speaking of style, the Creativity Corner gives you plenty of ways to make your Hot Wheels™ ride stand out. With a wide selection of stickers, wheels, and rims, you’ll have everything you need to create a look that’s entirely your own.

HOT WHEELS™ Infinite Rush will be available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch™ 2, ROG Xbox Ally, ROG Xbox Ally X, and PC via Steam, Microsoft Store, and Epic Games Store on September 10, 2026, with Early Access starting on September 7.
