SBKX introduces itself as the most complete title compared to past editions based on the official Superbike World Championship license. The realism and the simulation that made Milestone famous are back, although this time the game pays even more attention to the player needs to create an immersive and rewarding gaming experience for both the genre lovers, who just want to ride full speed on the track, and the real enthusiasts, who carefully follows the series. A custom path opens up in front of each one of these players based on their expectations, their gaming style and the way they live a motorbike simulation. "Simulation" mode completely evolves around every single detail of the racing experience: from bike setup to career path; from track study to telemetry, all content and information have been carefully reproduced to relive the race atmosphere. It’s a game mode optimised for the best bike setup in different tracks and with several weather conditions. The bike feeling has been improved, a more precise and manageable simulation without compromise, with more realistic and foreseeable reactions of bike anatomy. For those who instead love fun without too much hassle the game includes the "Arcade" mode, an unlimited experience, distinguished by an easy riding style, rewarding and never banal. The arcade game is characterised by Story Mode, similar to a career but quicker and lighter, which allows the rider to live the experience of all three categories through races and challenges in different conditions and all connected by a winning narration. From the animated paddock to the team pit, Simulation mode shows the attention Milestone paid to details of the Superbike World Championship. In the Pit, the Technical Meeting allows the player to exchange opinions and confront problems with his own mechanic. Discussing telemetry issues and complications with the mechanic allows the rider to identify the most correct setting for the next race and to improve his performances. In the new 3D Office, which includes a secretary, the rider takes off his leather suit and helmet and finally relaxes between races, analyses career statistics, ongoing Championship performances, or can even change his racing looks in a dedicated corner. The Superbike World Championship has been reproduced in every single detail allowing the player to race in all three different classes (Superstock, Supersport and Superbike) in an 8 year long career. In "Simulation" mode he starts with a minor and less prestigious team in the Superstock class to reach the top Superbike class in an important and famous team. In order to reach this goal the player will have to increase his reputation reaching his team's objectives and improving his bike with upgrades won with his riding skills. Good performances during tests and races will contribute to increase player reputation and will attract the attention of other teams. In SBKX the rider image is very important: not only his skills have been carefully studied but also his personal characteristics such as face features, height, nickname printed on the suit and different helmets that can be unlocked throughout the game. From a graphical point of view, SBKX has superior graphic details than SBK09. Each graphic element has been improved: from the sky, with a 4x higher definition, to a completely animated 3D public, to 14 track sceneries that have been reproduced in detail. Also bike and rider damages have been improved, making them more spectacular and different depending on the dynamics of each single fall. In this new episode the scenery is not a side element anymore but it's a fundamental aspect of the riding experience. A new characteristic has been added called Evolving Track: SBKX is based on a system that modifies track conditions depending on bikes passes; this means that a dry track gets tire rubber in braking and accelerating areas, while a wet track will become drier and drier on the ideal trajectory. This means that the grip will change dynamically lap after lap, leading to a more precise and technical riding on top of being a very important aesthetic element. Online mode gets bigger allowing racing against 15 opponents in both Arcade and Simulation modes. Also available immediately in the Limited Edition or later as a downloadable content on both consoles is the legendary SBK roster, with riders such as Bayliss, Fogarty, Spies, Edwards, Chili, Bostrom.. All the men that together made the Superbike something great, in a dream head to head.
